Ingredients:

  • 1 (14 ounce / 397g) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (15-18 ounce / 425-510g) package yellow cake mix (dry, not prepared)
  • 1 cup (240ml / 2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour your cake pan to prevent sticking.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk, dry cake mix, and melted butter. Stir until just combined; don't overmix. A few lumps are fine.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan. Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
  4. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting it onto a wire rack to cool completely.
  5. Cut into slices and serve!
