Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces (225g) cream cheese, softened
  • 4 ounces (115g) imitation crab meat (surimi), finely shredded or chopped
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) black pepper
  • 24 wonton wrappers (square or round)
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • Non-stick cooking spray

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded crab meat, green onions, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Lay out a wonton wrapper. Place about 1 teaspoon of filling in the center.
  3. Brush the edges of the wonton wrapper with the beaten egg. Fold the wrapper into your desired shape. Press the edges firmly to seal.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
  5. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray. Arrange the assembled Rangoon in a single layer, being careful not to overcrowd. Lightly spray the tops of the Rangoon with non-stick cooking spray.
  6. Air fry for 6-8 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Flip halfway through for even cooking.
  7. Remove the cooked Air Fryer Crab Rangoon from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
