Ingredients:

  • 1 pound (450g) fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) salt, or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) black pepper, or to taste
  • Optional: Red pepper flakes, to taste (for a little kick)
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon (15ml) grated Parmesan cheese (for serving)

Instructions:

  1. Rinse green beans and trim the ends.
  2. In a large bowl, toss green beans with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Ensure green beans are evenly coated.
  3. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Place green beans in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding; you may need to cook in batches.
  4. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the green beans are tender-crisp and slightly blistered.
  5. Transfer green beans to a serving dish. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese (if using) and serve immediately.
