Ingredients:
- 1 pound (450g) fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) salt, or to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) black pepper, or to taste
- Optional: Red pepper flakes, to taste (for a little kick)
- Optional: 1 tablespoon (15ml) grated Parmesan cheese (for serving)
Instructions:
- Rinse green beans and trim the ends.
- In a large bowl, toss green beans with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Ensure green beans are evenly coated.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Place green beans in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding; you may need to cook in batches.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the green beans are tender-crisp and slightly blistered.
- Transfer green beans to a serving dish. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese (if using) and serve immediately.
