Ingredients:
- 1 all-beef hot dog (approx. 57g)
- 1 hot dog bun
- Optional Toppings: Mustard, ketchup, relish, chopped onions, sauerkraut, cheese sauce, etc.
Instructions:
- Lightly score the hot dog diagonally on both sides with a knife. This prevents bursting and helps create crispy edges.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) if your model requires it.
- Place the hot dog in the air fryer basket. Air fry for 6-8 minutes, or until the skin is nicely browned and slightly blistered.
- During the last minute of cooking, place the hot dog bun in the air fryer basket alongside the hot dog. Watch closely to prevent burning. (Or toast it lightly in a toaster or grill).
- Carefully remove the hot dog and bun from the air fryer. Place the hot dog in the bun and top with your favorite condiments.
