Ingredients:
- 1.5 lbs Yukon Gold potatoes
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 0.5 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp fine sea salt
- 0.5 tsp cracked black pepper
Instructions:
- Wash the 1.5 lbs Yukon Gold potatoes thoroughly under cold water. Use a mandoline to slice them into 1/8 inch (0.125 inch) rounds.
- Submerge the slices in a bowl of ice-cold water for 10 minutes to remove excess starch.
- Drain the potatoes and pat them completely dry with a lint-free tea towel or paper towels.
- In a large bowl, whisk 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil with 1 tsp smoked paprika, 1 tsp garlic powder, 0.5 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp fine sea salt, and 0.5 tsp cracked black pepper.
- Add the potatoes to the bowl and use your hands to coat every single slice.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Arrange the slices in the air fryer basket. It is okay if they overlap slightly, but avoid stacking them deep.
- Air fry for 18-20 minutes, performing a vigorous basket shake at the 10-minute mark to ensure even browning.
