Ingredients:
- 2 medium apples, peeled and diced (about 2 cups / 300g)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (15ml)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon (2g)
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (15ml) (optional, for babies over 1 year)
- 1 cup rolled oats (90g)
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour (60g)
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened (60g)
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar (25g)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Peel and dice the apples into small pieces. Toss them with lemon juice, cinnamon, and honey/maple syrup (if using).
- In a mixing bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, and salt. Add softened butter and mix with hands or a fork until crumbly.
- Spread the apple mixture evenly in the baking dish. Top with the crumble mixture.
- Bake for about 30 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender.
- Allow to cool
