Ingredients:
- 1 cup (120 g) Baked Cheez-Its, crushed
- 1 cup (125 g) all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp (2.5 g) baking powder
- 1/2 tsp (2 g) garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp (2 g) paprika
- 1/4 tsp (1 g) salt
- 1/2 cup (125 g) creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup (30 g) powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) milk
- 1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup (60 g) shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the crushed Baked Cheez-Its, flour, baking powder, garlic powder, paprika, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine the peanut butter, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredient mixture into the peanut butter mixture until evenly combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm up.
- Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions and shape into balls or flat disks. Place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of each piece, if using.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
