Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (120 g) Baked Cheez-Its, crushed
  • 1 cup (125 g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp (2.5 g) baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp (2 g) garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp (2 g) paprika
  • 1/4 tsp (1 g) salt
  • 1/2 cup (125 g) creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup (30 g) powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) milk
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup (60 g) shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the crushed Baked Cheez-Its, flour, baking powder, garlic powder, paprika, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine the peanut butter, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  4. Gradually fold the dry ingredient mixture into the peanut butter mixture until evenly combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  5. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm up.
  6. Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions and shape into balls or flat disks. Place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of each piece, if using.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
