Ingredients:

  • 2 medium bananas, sliced (approx. 240g / 8.5 oz)
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and halved (approx. 150g / 5.3 oz)
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries (approx. 170g / 6 oz)
  • 1/2 cup fresh raspberries (approx. 60g / 2.1 oz)
  • 1/2 cup fresh blackberries (approx. 70g / 2.5 oz)
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh mint or basil (optional) (approx. 5g / 0.2 oz)
  • 2 tablespoons honey (30 ml / 1 fl oz)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice (30 ml / 1 fl oz)
  • 1/2 teaspoon lime zest (optional) (approx. 1g / 0.03 oz)

Instructions:

  1. Wash and prepare all the fruit. Hull and halve the strawberries, slice the bananas.
  2. Gently combine all the fruit (bananas, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, and optional herbs) in a large mixing bowl.
  3. In a small bowl or jar, whisk together the honey, lime juice, and lime zest (if using) until well combined.
  4. Pour the honey-lime drizzle over the fruit salad and gently toss to coat.
  5. For best flavor, chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to meld.
  6. Serve the Berries and Banana Bliss Salad immediately.
