Ingredients:
- 2 medium bananas, sliced (approx. 240g / 8.5 oz)
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and halved (approx. 150g / 5.3 oz)
- 1 cup fresh blueberries (approx. 170g / 6 oz)
- 1/2 cup fresh raspberries (approx. 60g / 2.1 oz)
- 1/2 cup fresh blackberries (approx. 70g / 2.5 oz)
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh mint or basil (optional) (approx. 5g / 0.2 oz)
- 2 tablespoons honey (30 ml / 1 fl oz)
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice (30 ml / 1 fl oz)
- 1/2 teaspoon lime zest (optional) (approx. 1g / 0.03 oz)
Instructions:
- Wash and prepare all the fruit. Hull and halve the strawberries, slice the bananas.
- Gently combine all the fruit (bananas, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, and optional herbs) in a large mixing bowl.
- In a small bowl or jar, whisk together the honey, lime juice, and lime zest (if using) until well combined.
- Pour the honey-lime drizzle over the fruit salad and gently toss to coat.
- For best flavor, chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to meld.
- Serve the Berries and Banana Bliss Salad immediately.
