  • 2 cups (300g) fresh pineapple chunks
  • 2 cups (300g) seedless green grapes, halved
  • 2 cups (300g) fresh blueberries
  • 2 medium bananas, sliced (add just before serving to prevent browning)
  • 1 cup (150g) mini marshmallows (optional, for extra sweetness)
  • 1 cup (240g) full-fat sour cream
  • 1 cup (240g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon (5ml) pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) fresh lemon juice (to balance sweetness and prevent browning)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Fruit: Wash and dry all fruit thoroughly. Chop strawberries, pineapple, and grapes into bite-sized pieces. Slice bananas just before assembling to prevent browning.
  2. Make the Creamy Sauce: In a medium bowl, whisk together sour cream, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and lemon juice until smooth and well combined.
  3. Assemble the Salad: In a large bowl, combine strawberries, pineapple, grapes, blueberries, and mini marshmallows (if using). Gently fold in the creamy sauce until all fruit is evenly coated. Add sliced bananas last and gently mix to incorporate.
  4. Chill and Serve: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld. Serve chilled in individual bowls or as part of a dessert spread.
