Ingredients:

  • 18.4 oz brownie mix
  • 0.25 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 pinch flaky sea salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the 18.4 oz brownie mix and 0.25 cup all purpose flour.
  3. In a separate small bowl, whisk 2 large eggs with 1 tsp vanilla extract until slightly frothy.
  4. Pour the 0.5 cup melted butter into the egg mixture. Whisk constantly while pouring to emulsify the fat and water in the eggs.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry bowl. Use a spatula to fold until no dry streaks of flour remain.
  6. Fold in the 0.5 cup semi sweet chocolate chips.
  7. Use a scoop to place 2 tablespoon mounds onto the prepared sheets, spaced 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10 minutes until the tops look dry and shattered.
  9. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle with a pinch of flaky sea salt.
  10. Let them rest on the hot pan for at least 5 minutes.
