Ingredients:
- 8 whole banana peppers
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Wash banana peppers and slice them in half lengthwise. Remove seeds gently. Set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix until well combined.
- Fill each banana pepper half generously with the cheese mixture. Arrange stuffed peppers in a baking dish, cut side up.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over stuffed peppers. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm.
