Ingredients:

  • 8 whole banana peppers
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Wash banana peppers and slice them in half lengthwise. Remove seeds gently. Set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix until well combined.
  3. Fill each banana pepper half generously with the cheese mixture. Arrange stuffed peppers in a baking dish, cut side up.
  4. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over stuffed peppers. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  5. Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm.
