Ingredients:

  • 1 loaf (1 pound/450g) Italian or French bread, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • ½ cup (1 stick/113g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced (about 2 tablespoons)
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 ½ cups (6 oz/170g) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder.
  3. Add bread cubes to the bowl and toss gently until evenly coated with the butter mixture.
  4. Spread the bread cubes in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese evenly over the bread cubes, followed by the mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the bread is golden brown.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley (if using) and serve immediately.
