Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (230g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 ½ cups (300g) granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup (50g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 cup (175g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Sea salt flakes for sprinkling

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the baking pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and granulated sugar. Whisk until well incorporated.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, whisking thoroughly after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, and sea salt.
  6. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  7. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
  9. Bake for 20 minutes or until the edges are set and the center is slightly soft.
  10. Remove from the oven and allow to cool. Sprinkle with sea salt flakes if desired.
  11. Once cooled, cut into bite-sized pieces and transfer to a yellow box for serving.
