Ingredients:
- 1 cup (230g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 ½ cups (300g) granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
- ½ cup (50g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
- 1 cup (175g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Sea salt flakes for sprinkling
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the baking pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and granulated sugar. Whisk until well incorporated.
- Add eggs one at a time, whisking thoroughly after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, and sea salt.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until the edges are set and the center is slightly soft.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool. Sprinkle with sea salt flakes if desired.
- Once cooled, cut into bite-sized pieces and transfer to a yellow box for serving.
