Ingredients:
- 6 cups apples, peeled, cored, and sliced (about 6 medium apples; use a mix like Granny Smith and Honeycrisp)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions:

- In another mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and salt. Mix well. Drizzle the melted butter over the oat mixture and mix until crumbly.
- Evenly spread the oat topping over the apple filling.
- Place in the preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes, until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving. Pair with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, if desired.
