Ingredients:
- 2 cans (5 oz/140 g each) tuna, drained and flaked
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) lemon juice
- 1/4 cup (35 g) celery, finely diced
- 1/4 cup (35 g) red onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup (35 g) sweet pickles or relish
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons (2 g) fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions:
- Open and drain the tuna cans; flake the tuna into a mixing bowl.
- Finely dice the celery and chop the red onion and pickles.
- In the same bowl, add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice. Stir until well combined.
- Add the diced celery, chopped onion, and pickles to the bowl with the dressing and tuna. Gently mix until all ingredients are coated evenly.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. If desired, fold in fresh parsley for added flavor.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Serve chilled on a bed of lettuce, in a sandwich, or with crackers.
