Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend recommended)
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • 4 hamburger buns, split

Instructions:

  1. Heat skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Increase heat to medium-high, add ground beef to the skillet. Cook, breaking it up with a spatula, until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour in beef broth. Stir well to combine and let it simmer for 5-10 minutes until the mixture thickens slightly.
  5. Spoon the filling onto each bun bottom. Add desired toppings (optional) and place the top of the bun.
