Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (45g) rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp (12g) chia seeds
  • 2/3 cup (160ml) oat milk
  • 1/4 tsp (1.5g) ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp (0.75g) sea salt
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp (2.5ml) vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp (15g) Greek yogurt

Instructions:

  1. Whisk the rolled oats, chia seeds, cinnamon, and salt directly in a mason jar. Note: This ensures the chia seeds are evenly distributed before the liquid hits them.
  2. Pour in the oat milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
  3. Stir vigorously for 60 seconds. Note: Scrape the bottom and sides of the jar so no dry oats are left behind.
  4. Fold in the Greek yogurt. Stir until the mixture is fully homogenized and smooth.
  5. Seal the lid tightly.
  6. Shake the jar one last time.
  7. Place in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours.
  8. Check the consistency the next morning. It should be thick and cohesive, not liquid.
