Ingredients:
- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
- Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a 12 inch skillet over medium high heat. Once the butter foams, sear chicken for 5-7 minutes per side until deep golden brown.
- Remove chicken to a plate.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add minced garlic to the pan drippings and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and whisk in Italian seasoning and onion powder.
- Simmer for 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly, then stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Return chicken and pan juices to the skillet.
- Spoon sauce over the meat and simmer for 2-3 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Garnish with fresh parsley.
