Ingredients:
- 1.5 lbs (680g) boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tsp (5g) salt
- ½ tsp (2g) black pepper
- 1 tsp (2g) smoked paprika
- ½ cup (120ml) heavy cream
- ¼ cup (60ml) melted unsalted butter
- ½ cup (50g) freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves (15g) garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp (15ml) lemon juice
- ¼ tsp (1g) onion powder
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (218°C). Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels to ensure seasoning adheres. Rub salt, pepper, and smoked paprika evenly over both sides of the meat and place them in a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together melted butter, heavy cream, minced garlic, lemon juice, and onion powder until smooth. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese.
- Pour the cream mixture evenly over the chicken, ensuring the tops are completely submerged.
- Bake on the center rack for 20-25 minutes until the sauce is bubbling and golden brown. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the thickest part of the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
