Ingredients:

  • 1.5 lbs (680g) boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp (5g) salt
  • ½ tsp (2g) black pepper
  • 1 tsp (2g) smoked paprika
  • ½ cup (120ml) heavy cream
  • ¼ cup (60ml) melted unsalted butter
  • ½ cup (50g) freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves (15g) garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp (1g) onion powder

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (218°C). Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels to ensure seasoning adheres. Rub salt, pepper, and smoked paprika evenly over both sides of the meat and place them in a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together melted butter, heavy cream, minced garlic, lemon juice, and onion powder until smooth. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese.
  3. Pour the cream mixture evenly over the chicken, ensuring the tops are completely submerged.
  4. Bake on the center rack for 20-25 minutes until the sauce is bubbling and golden brown. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the thickest part of the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  5. Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
