Instructions:
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl or directly into your serving jars, whisk together the rolled oats, chia seeds, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, and salt. Ensure the spices are evenly distributed.
- Incorporate Wet Ingredients: Add the pumpkin purée, milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract to the dry mixture.
- Mix Thoroughly: Use a fork or whisk to vigorously combine all ingredients. Scrape the bottom and sides to ensure no dry oats remain.
- Jarring & Sealing: Divide the mixture evenly between the two prepared jars. Seal the lids tightly.
- The Chill Factor: Place the jars in the refrigerator for a minimum of 4 hours, but ideally overnight (8 hours), allowing the oats to plump up and thicken.
- Morning Check & Adjust: In the morning, open the jars. If the oats are too thick, stir in a splash (1–2 Tbsp) of extra milk until you reach your desired consistency.
- Serve: Top immediately with your choice of toppings, such as toasted pecans or a drizzle of extra maple syrup, and enjoy straight from the jar.
