  1. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl or directly into your serving jars, whisk together the rolled oats, chia seeds, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, and salt. Ensure the spices are evenly distributed.
  2. Incorporate Wet Ingredients: Add the pumpkin purée, milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract to the dry mixture.
  3. Mix Thoroughly: Use a fork or whisk to vigorously combine all ingredients. Scrape the bottom and sides to ensure no dry oats remain.
  4. Jarring & Sealing: Divide the mixture evenly between the two prepared jars. Seal the lids tightly.
  5. The Chill Factor: Place the jars in the refrigerator for a minimum of 4 hours, but ideally overnight (8 hours), allowing the oats to plump up and thicken.
  6. Morning Check & Adjust: In the morning, open the jars. If the oats are too thick, stir in a splash (1–2 Tbsp) of extra milk until you reach your desired consistency.
