Ingredients:
- ½ cup Mayonnaise
- ¼ cup Ketchup
- 2 tablespoons Sweet Pickle Relish, drained
- 1 tablespoon White Wine Vinegar
- 1 tablespoon finely minced Yellow Onion
- 1 tablespoon finely minced Celery
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
- ½ teaspoon Paprika
- ¼ teaspoon Garlic Powder
- Pinch of Cayenne Pepper (optional)
- Salt and Black Pepper to taste
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, ketchup, white wine vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth.
- Stir in the sweet pickle relish, minced onion, and minced celery.
- Add the paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine.
- Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed. Add more salt, pepper, or vinegar for tang.
- For best flavor, cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
- Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. This homemade 1000 island dressing is delicious!
