Ingredients:

  • ½ cup Mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup Ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Sweet Pickle Relish, drained
  • 1 tablespoon White Wine Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon finely minced Yellow Onion
  • 1 tablespoon finely minced Celery
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • ½ teaspoon Paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • Pinch of Cayenne Pepper (optional)
  • Salt and Black Pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, ketchup, white wine vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth.
  2. Stir in the sweet pickle relish, minced onion, and minced celery.
  3. Add the paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine.
  4. Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed. Add more salt, pepper, or vinegar for tang.
  5. For best flavor, cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  6. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. This homemade 1000 island dressing is delicious!
