Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs (approximately 2 lbs or 900 g)
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together BBQ sauce, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Place chicken thighs in a large resealable bag or bowl. Pour marinade over chicken, ensuring even coverage. Seal bag or cover bowl and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Set the air fryer to 380°F (193°C) and preheat for about 5 minutes.
- Remove chicken from marinade, letting excess drip off. Arrange chicken thighs in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 25 minutes, flipping the chicken halfway through, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and skin is crispy.
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
