Ingredients:
- 2 pounds chicken wings, tips removed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
- Rinse and pat dry the chicken wings with paper towels. Place the wings in a large mixing bowl.
- Drizzle olive oil over the wings. Add garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Toss the wings to coat evenly; let sit for at least 10 minutes or refrigerate for up to 2 hours.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Lightly grease the air fryer basket with cooking spray or oil. Place the marinated wings in the basket in a single layer (work in batches if necessary). Cook for 25-30 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). For extra crispiness, cook for an additional 3-5 minutes if desired.
- Remove from the air fryer and let rest for a few minutes. Serve with dipping sauces and sides of choice.
