Ingredients:
- 4 tablespoons (57g) unsalted butter, cut into cubes
- 10 ounces (283g) marshmallows, mini or large
- 6 cups (142g) Rice Krispies cereal
- 1/4 teaspoon pink food coloring (gel or liquid)
- 1/4 cup (28g) Valentine's Day sprinkles
- 4 ounces (113g) white chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil (for thinning chocolate)
Instructions:
- Grease the 9x13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the marshmallows and stir constantly until completely melted and smooth.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat. Stir in the pink food coloring until evenly distributed. Add the Rice Krispies cereal and stir until well coated.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and gently press it evenly using the rubber spatula. Sprinkle with Valentine's Day sprinkles.
- Let the mixture set in the pan for at least 30 minutes. Once set, use heart-shaped cookie cutters to cut out shapes.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips with the vegetable oil in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until smooth and melted.
- Drizzle the melted white chocolate over the cut-out hearts. Let the chocolate set completely before serving.
