- 1/4 teaspoon (1 g) ground cinnamon (optional)
- 1/2 tablespoon (7 g) coconut oil (optional, for creaminess)
Instructions:
- Pour the almond milk into a medium saucepan and heat over medium heat until warm but not boiling.
- In a small bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, maple syrup, sea salt, and cinnamon (if using) until well combined.
- Gradually stir in the cocoa mixture into the warm almond milk using a whisk.
- Stir in vanilla extract and coconut oil (if using) until fully incorporated.
- Continue to heat, whisking gently, until everything is hot, about 3-5 minutes. Remove from heat.
