  • 1 tsp (5g) Baking powder
  • 1 tsp (2g) Ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp (3g) Salt
  • 1 ½ cups (360ml) Milk of choice
  • 1 large (50g) Egg, beaten
  • ⅓ cup (80ml) Pure maple syrup

  • 1 tsp (5ml) Vanilla extract

  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the rolled oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt until no clumps remain.
  3. Add the beaten egg, milk, maple syrup, melted butter, and vanilla extract to the bowl.
  4. Stir vigorously until the mixture is cohesive and the melted butter is fully incorporated.
  5. Fold the wet and dry ingredients together until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased 8x8 inch baking dish, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  7. Bake for 35–45 minutes until the edges are golden-brown and the center feels set but slightly springy to the touch.
