Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 7.6 oz Media Crema
  • 14 oz Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 0.5 cup Evaporated Milk
  • 0.5 cup Mexican Crema or sour cream
  • 1 tbsp Mexican vanilla extract
  • 0.25 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions:

  1. Wash strawberries thoroughly and pat completely dry. Slice berries into quarters or thick rounds. Place in a large bowl and sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of sugar. Let macerate for 10–15 minutes until glossy.
  2. In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the media crema, sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and Mexican crema until perfectly smooth.
  3. Stir the vanilla extract and ground cinnamon into the cream mixture until aromatic.
  4. Pour the cream sauce over the macerated strawberries. Gently fold the berries in until submerged.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the sauce to thicken and flavors to meld before serving.
