Ingredients:
- 1.5 lbs (680g) ground beef (80/20 blend for best flavor)
- 1 cup (100g) breadcrumbs (plain or seasoned)
- 1/2 cup (120ml) milk
- 1/2 cup (75g) onion, finely chopped
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/3 cup (80ml) ketchup
- 2 tablespoons (30g) brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, chopped onion, eggs, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and parsley.
- Transfer the meat mixture into a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the ketchup, brown sugar, and vinegar until well combined.
- Generously spread the glaze over the top of the meatloaf.
- Place the loaf pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
