- 16 oz vanilla or cream cheese frosting
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 cup chopped roasted peanuts
Instructions:
- Line an 8x8 inch square baking pan with parchment paper, ensuring an overhang on two sides to serve as a sling for easy removal.
- In a large microwave-safe glass bowl, combine the peanut butter and frosting. Microwave on high for 60 seconds.
- Stir the mixture vigorously. If not fully melted, continue heating in 30-second intervals until the consistency is smooth and glossy.
- Fold in the vanilla extract and sea salt until thoroughly incorporated.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula. Immediately sprinkle with chopped roasted peanuts while the surface is still tacky.
- Let the fudge sit at room temperature for 30 minutes, then transfer to the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Once firm, lift the sling out and slice into 1-inch squares.
