Ingredients:
- 1 ½ ounces (45 ml) high-quality Vodka, chilled
- 1 ounce (30 ml) Baileys Irish Cream, chilled
- ½ ounce (15 ml) Coffee Liqueur (e.g., Kahlúa)
- 1 ounce (30 ml) Fresh Espresso or Strong Coffee, cooled
- Large handful of Ice Cubes
- 3 whole Coffee Beans (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Place your serving coupe or martini glass in the freezer, or fill it completely with ice water while you prepare the drink.
- Add the chilled Vodka, Baileys Irish Cream, Coffee Liqueur (if using), and cooled Espresso/Coffee into the cocktail shaker.
- Fill the shaker two-thirds full with fresh, solid ice cubes.
- Secure the lid tightly and shake hard for about 15–20 seconds to ensure thorough chilling and aeration.
- Discard the ice or water from your chilled glass.
- Double strain the mixture from the shaker through the built-in strainer and ideally a fine-mesh strainer into the prepared glass.
- Garnish by floating three whole coffee beans gently on top of the cocktail foam. Serve immediately.
