Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (45g) rolled oats
  • 1 cup (240ml) water
  • 1/4 tsp (1.25g) salt
  • 1/2 tsp (1g) ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup (120g) plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) maple syrup
  • 1/2 banana, sliced
  • 1 tbsp (10g) chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp (15g) sliced almonds

Instructions:

  1. Combine the rolled oats, water, salt, and cinnamon in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the liquid is mostly absorbed and the mixture is thick.
  2. Remove the bowl from the heat and let it sit for 60 seconds to cool slightly. Stir in the Greek yogurt and maple syrup until the mixture is glossy and well-combined.
  3. Pour the oatmeal into a serving bowl and arrange the sliced bananas, chia seeds, and sliced almonds on top.
