Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup natural creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp fine sea salt
  • 9 cups Corn or Rice Chex cereal
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions:

  1. Combine the peanut butter, chocolate chips, and butter in a microwave-safe glass bowl.
  2. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until the mixture is smooth and glossy.
  3. Stir in the vanilla extract and salt until fully incorporated.
  4. Pour the cereal into a large zip-top freezer bag, then pour the chocolate mixture over the cereal and seal the bag tightly.
  5. Gently shake and rotate the bag until every piece of cereal is fully coated.
  6. Open the bag, sprinkle in the powdered sugar, reseal, and shake vigorously until evenly covered.
  7. Spread the mixture onto a parchment-lined sheet and let it set for 30 minutes.
