Ingredients:

  • 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup (115g) shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup (55g) shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • ½ cup (120ml) mayonnaise
  • 4 oz (115g) canned diced jalapeños, drained
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled (about ½ cup)
  • ¼ cup (25g) chopped green onions (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Assorted dippers: tortilla chips, crackers, baguette slices, vegetables

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, beat together softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth.
  3. Stir in cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, diced jalapeños, and crumbled bacon. Reserve a little cheese and bacon for topping. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly into a baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle reserved cheese and bacon on top. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.
  6. Garnish with green onions (if using). Let cool slightly before serving with dippers.
