Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup (115g) shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup (55g) shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- ½ cup (120ml) mayonnaise
- 4 oz (115g) canned diced jalapeños, drained
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled (about ½ cup)
- ¼ cup (25g) chopped green onions (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Assorted dippers: tortilla chips, crackers, baguette slices, vegetables
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, beat together softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth.
- Stir in cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, diced jalapeños, and crumbled bacon. Reserve a little cheese and bacon for topping. Season with salt and pepper.
- Spread the mixture evenly into a baking dish.
- Sprinkle reserved cheese and bacon on top. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.
- Garnish with green onions (if using). Let cool slightly before serving with dippers.
