Ingredients:

  • 1 large egg (50 g)
  • 1/3 cup milk (80 ml)
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese (113 g)
  • 1 (4 oz) can diced green chilies, drained (113 g)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin (2 g)
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder (2 g)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (1 g)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Grease the baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix, ground cumin, chili powder, and salt.
  4. Whisk in the egg and milk until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in shredded cheddar cheese and diced green chilies.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before cutting into squares and serving.
