Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 3 stalks green onions, thinly sliced
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp gochujang
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- 2 stalks green onion greens, sliced
Instructions:
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, gochujang, brown sugar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture is a smooth paste.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it into small crumbles, until the beef is no longer pink and has developed a deep brown crust. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the minced garlic, grated ginger, and the white parts of the green onions. Sauté for 60 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour the gochujang glaze over the beef. Toss constantly for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens into a glossy coating.
