Ingredients:
- 8 Hot Dogs (Beef or Pork)
- 1 sheet (14.1 oz / 400g) Refrigerated Puff Pastry Dough, thawed
- 1 Large Egg
- 1 tablespoon Milk or Water
- 1/4 cup Yellow Mustard
- Optional: Everything Bagel Seasoning
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- Unfold the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Cut the pastry into thin strips (about ¼ inch / 0.6 cm wide).
- Wrap the strips of dough around each hot dog, leaving a small gap near the top for the 'eyes'. Overlap strips.
- Whisk egg and milk (or water). Brush over the wrapped dough. Sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning.
- Place Mummy Dogs on the baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly. Fill a bag with mustard, snip the corner. Pipe two dots for eyes.
