Ingredients:

  • 8 Hot Dogs (Beef or Pork)
  • 1 sheet (14.1 oz / 400g) Refrigerated Puff Pastry Dough, thawed
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1 tablespoon Milk or Water
  • 1/4 cup Yellow Mustard
  • Optional: Everything Bagel Seasoning

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. Unfold the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Cut the pastry into thin strips (about ¼ inch / 0.6 cm wide).
  3. Wrap the strips of dough around each hot dog, leaving a small gap near the top for the 'eyes'. Overlap strips.
  4. Whisk egg and milk (or water). Brush over the wrapped dough. Sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning.
  5. Place Mummy Dogs on the baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  6. Let cool slightly. Fill a bag with mustard, snip the corner. Pipe two dots for eyes.
  7. Serve and Enjoy
