Ingredients:
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 large egg
- ½ cup milk
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- 1 cup fresh orange juice
- Zest of 1 orange
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water

- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water. Add to the sauce, whisking until thickened (about 3-5 minutes). Stir in crushed red pepper flakes if desired.
- Add the fried chicken to the sauce, tossing to coat evenly.
- Transfer to a serving platter and garnish with additional orange zest or sesame seeds if desired.
