Ingredients:

  • 1 package (14.3 oz / 405g) Oreo cookies (Standard, not Double Stuf)
  • 1 package (8 oz / 226g) Full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • 12 oz (340g) High-quality melting chocolate (semi-sweet or dark)
  • 1 tsp (5ml) Coconut oil
  • 2-3 Reserved Oreo cookies, crushed (for garnish)
  • 1 tbsp Festive sprinkles (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Place the Oreo cookies into a food processor and pulse until a fine, sandy texture is achieved. Reserve 2 tablespoons of crumbs for garnish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cookie crumbs and softened cream cheese. Mix until no white streaks remain and a heavy dough forms.
  3. Scoop the mixture into 1-inch balls (approx. 1 tablespoon each). Roll until smooth and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Chill in the freezer for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Melt the chocolate and coconut oil in 30-second intervals in the microwave. Dip chilled balls into the chocolate using a fork, tap off excess, and top with reserved crumbs or sprinkles before the chocolate sets.
