Ingredients:
- 1 pound fresh broccoli florets
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- ½ teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Juice of ½ lemon
- Optional: ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Wash and dry the broccoli florets thoroughly; then, cut them into even-sized pieces.
- In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, lemon zest, and red pepper flakes if using.
- Add the broccoli florets to the bowl; toss until evenly coated with the seasoning.
- Spread the broccoli in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Place in the oven and roast for 15-20 minutes, stirring halfway, until tender and edges are crispy.
- Remove from the oven; drizzle with lemon juice before serving.
