Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1/8 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
Instructions:
- In a small mixing bowl, combine the Dijon mustard, yellow mustard, and creamy mayonnaise.
- Pour in the honey and apple cider vinegar. Add the fine sea salt and optional cayenne pepper.
- Using a wire whisk, stir the ingredients vigorously until the texture is silky smooth and the color is a uniform golden yellow.
- For a dipping sauce, use as is. For a salad dressing, slowly whisk in 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil until the mixture reaches a drizzling consistency.
- Transfer the sauce to a glass jar and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to deepen before serving.
