Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/8 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

Instructions:

  1. In a small mixing bowl, combine the Dijon mustard, yellow mustard, and creamy mayonnaise.
  2. Pour in the honey and apple cider vinegar. Add the fine sea salt and optional cayenne pepper.
  3. Using a wire whisk, stir the ingredients vigorously until the texture is silky smooth and the color is a uniform golden yellow.
  4. For a dipping sauce, use as is. For a salad dressing, slowly whisk in 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil until the mixture reaches a drizzling consistency.
  5. Transfer the sauce to a glass jar and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to deepen before serving.
