- 1 cup (100 g) grated Jarlsberg cheese
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

- Cooked pasta of your choice (approximately 12 oz or 340 g)
Instructions:
- Gather all ingredients and measure them.
- In a saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant but not browned.
- Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine.
- Gradually whisk in the grated Jarlsberg cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Add black pepper, salt, and nutmeg (if using), and mix well.
- Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
- Plate the pasta and garnish with additional cheese or herbs as desired.
