Ingredients:

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved (about 300 grams)
  • 3 ounces white rum (about 90 ml)
  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice (about 30 ml)
  • 1 ounce simple syrup (about 30 ml), adjust to taste
  • 1 cup ice cubes (about 240 ml)

Instructions:

  1. Hull and halve the strawberries. Measure out the rum, lime juice, and simple syrup.
  2. In the blender, combine strawberries, rum, lime juice, simple syrup, and ice. Blend on high speed until smooth, about 30-60 seconds.
  3. Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness by adding more simple syrup if desired. Blend again to combine.
  4. Pour into chilled glasses and garnish with a strawberry slice on the rim if desired.
