Ingredients:
- 3 cups fresh strawberries, hulled (about 450g)
- 1/2 cup fresh lime juice (about 4-5 limes) (120ml)
- 1/2 cup simple syrup (120ml)
- 1 cup white rum (240ml)
- 1-2 cups ice, preferably crushed (to taste)
Instructions:
- Hull and rinse the strawberries thoroughly to remove any dirt.
- Cut the limes in half and juice them until you have about 1/2 cup of fresh lime juice.
- In a blender, combine the hulled strawberries, lime juice, simple syrup, and white rum. Blend on high until smooth.
- Add ice gradually while blending, until you reach your desired slushy consistency.
- Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness or tartness as needed by adding more syrup or lime juice.
- Pour into glasses and garnish with a fresh strawberry or lime slice if desired.
