Ingredients:

  • 24 small pretzel twists (about 8 oz / 225 g)
  • 24 Rolo candies (1 package, approx. 10 oz / 280 g)
  • 1 cup (6 oz / 170 g) semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)
  • Sea salt (to sprinkle on top)
  • Crushed nuts (for added crunch)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  3. Place pretzel twists on the baking sheet, spaced evenly apart.
  4. Place one Rolo candy on top of each pretzel.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 4-5 minutes, or until the Rolos are softened but not completely melted.
  6. Remove the baking sheet from the oven, and gently press another pretzel on top of each melted Rolo. Allow to cool slightly.
  7. Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave, stirring until smooth. Drizzle over the pretzel bites, if desired.
  8. Sprinkle with sea salt or crushed nuts while the chocolate is still warm.
  9. Allow the bites to cool completely at room temperature or refrigerate for quicker setting.
