Ingredients:
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, sliced into thin strips
- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 cup chicken broth or water
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
- Slice the chicken breast into thin strips and season with salt, pepper, and cornstarch in a mixing bowl.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), chicken broth, and grated ginger until well combined.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in the skillet over medium-high heat, add the chicken, and cook until browned and cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside. Add another tablespoon of oil, then add minced garlic, broccoli, and bell pepper.
- Stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until vegetables are tender but crisp.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, pour the sauce over the chicken and vegetables, and stir to combine.
- Cook for an additional 2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly and everything is heated through, then serve immediately.
