Ingredients:
- 3 lbs country-style pork ribs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
Instructions:
- Pat the ribs dry with paper towels.
- Rub the olive oil over the meat.
- Season evenly with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the ribs on each side for 3-4 minutes until browned (optional).
- In a bowl, combine barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, chicken broth, brown sugar, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper.
- Place the ribs in the crock pot and pour the sauce mixture evenly over the ribs.
- Cover and set the crock pot to low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours until tender.
- Carefully remove the ribs from the crock pot and place on a serving platter, drizzling any remaining sauce on top.
