Ingredients:
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup lump crab meat, drained
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 French baguette or 12 slices of white bread
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- Optional: Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.
- Slice the French baguette into 1-inch thick slices or use ready-made bread slices. Brush one side of each slice with melted butter.
- Place the bread slices on a baking sheet, butter side down. Spread the crab mixture evenly over each slice.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the tops are golden brown and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve warm.
