Ingredients:

  • 6-8 medium-sized flour tortillas
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, combine the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Mix well.
  3. Lay the tortillas on a flat surface. Brush each tortilla lightly with melted butter, ensuring even coverage.
  4. Generously sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the buttered tortillas.
  5. If desired, cut the tortillas into wedges using a pizza cutter or kitchen shears. Leave whole for larger crisps.
  6. Arrange the tortillas in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the tortillas are golden brown and crispy. Watch carefully; they can burn quickly.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. They will crisp up further as they cool.
  9. Serve immediately and try not to eat the whole batch in one sitting! (We won't judge if you do, though).
