- 1 cup (240ml) ketchup
- 1/4 cup (60ml) apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons (30ml) Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon (15g) mustard (yellow or Dijon)
- 1 tablespoon (15g) soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon (5g) garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon (5g) onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5g) smoked paprika (optional for added flavor)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- In a medium saucepan, combine fruit jelly, ketchup, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
- Use a whisk to thoroughly mix the ingredients until smooth.
- Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a simmer.
- Continue to cook while stirring occasionally for about 15 minutes, allowing flavors to meld.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly before transferring to an airtight container for storage.
