Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (240g) fruit jelly (such as grape or raspberry)
  • 1 cup (240ml) ketchup
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon (15g) mustard (yellow or Dijon)
  • 1 tablespoon (15g) soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon (5g) garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon (5g) onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5g) smoked paprika (optional for added flavor)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine fruit jelly, ketchup, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
  2. Use a whisk to thoroughly mix the ingredients until smooth.
  3. Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a simmer.
  4. Continue to cook while stirring occasionally for about 15 minutes, allowing flavors to meld.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before transferring to an airtight container for storage.
