Ingredients:
- 10 oz (280 g) tortilla chips
- 2 cups (200 g) shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup (100 g) shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 can (15 oz / 425 g) black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 cup (150 g) diced tomatoes (fresh or canned)
- 1/2 cup (75 g) sliced jalapeños (pickled or fresh)
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) sour cream
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) fresh salsa
- Fresh cilantro (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line the baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup if desired.
- Spread the tortilla chips evenly on the baking sheet.
- Sprinkle both the cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese evenly over the chips.
- Evenly distribute black beans, diced tomatoes, and jalapeños over the cheese.
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from oven, garnish with fresh cilantro, and serve immediately with sour cream and salsa on the side.
